LUNCH AT ARCADIA

I just had lunch with my Mom and a good friend of mine, Jennifer, at Din Tai Fung, Arcadia, Plaza Senayan. t was the first time Jen was having lunch with me together with my Mom. Usually I have lunch with Jen, either together with her husband, her mother, her father, or any and all combination with them. I never have lunch or dinner with any friend of mine in the presence or accompanied by my Mom. So far, only Param, Giulio, Miles, Hong Xia and Jan have ever had lunch and dinner with me accompanied by my Mom.

Departing from home at 11.00 a.m., Mom and I went to Jen's house and dropped off some documents and then we went directly to Plaza Senayan. Initially we wanted to have lunch at Marche, but considering that it could be boring in addition to tiring for Mom to walk around the mall and go upstairs, we decided to have lunch at Din Tai Fung, Arcadia.

There we had fried rice; Cha Jiang noodles; Japanese tofu with beef floss, pitan egg and crab egg; spinach with garlic and xiao long bao. Pretty delicious, but somewhat too much for us although we shared the food together.

After the dinner, we went directly to Jen's house to drop her off and we then went directly home but first stopping by to buy some dog food and pick up my laundry. Mom decided to postpone purchasing new glasses.

Now resting....
